Tag Sports Appoints Mark Roughsedge as CIC Programme Lead

Tag Sports, is delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Roughsedge as CIC Programme Lead.

Mark brings a wealth of experience and passion to the role, having been a key part of the Great Britain Tag Rugby community since 2018.

During his time on the Great Britain coaching staff, Mark has achieved significant success on the international stage, including winning both a bronze and gold medal at the last two Tag World Cups.

Prior to joining Tag Sports, Mark has made valuable contributions to the community and sport development sector through his work with organisations such as StreetGames and his own CIC, Sport on Your Doorstep. His experience in these roles has equipped him with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing grassroots sports initiatives.

In his new capacity as CIC Programme Lead, Mark will be responsible for overseeing Tag Sports and implementing programmes that will increase participation across the country in sport, physical activity and tag. He will leverage his expertise to build upon the strong foundations laid by his predecessor Ben over the past year.

I'm deeply passionate about the positive impact sport and physical activity can have on individuals and their communities. Tag Sports will play a pivotal role in introducing the sport to new demographics and fostering growth in underserved communities.”
