Tag Sports is a Community Interest Company that has been created with the aim to increase participation in sport and exercise across the United Kingdom, in order to benefit the health and wellbeing of the communities it works in. Tag Sports will be offering new opportunities and prioritising groups that are currently underrepresented in the sport.

Tag Sports believes that sport is for all and wants to help remove barriers to participation, by creating a safe environment for its participants to learn and enjoy themselves. Initially the CIC will primarily focus in particular on women and ethnically diverse communities due to the lower numbers of these groups currently playing.

In our experience and through the research we have undertaken, it is evident that programmes that aim to improve everything for everyone all at once have limited success. Therefore Tag Sports has to focus its initial efforts with the groups it feels it can achieve the greatest tangible progress for within the communities that we operate in. As our presence and success grows we hope to widen the sustainable impact we can have across further groups and locations.
